Not an official Community website. The abuse of the landslide land..right here in Los Angeles county under the Coastal Commission control. Not enforced, I am putting this up as proof of the issues I call the city about. I will give you the photos and you can see what I see and make up your mind. I am anti top soil destruction and I worry about the safety of the community with all the illegal dumping and untested fill and grading on the landslide.

Long term and Private Storage of Used Asphalt Roadside EAST
PBCA Board of Directors PO Box 2908 Palos Verdes Peninsula CA 90274 Dear Board of Directors: Regarding: Long term and Private Storage of Used Asphalt Roadside EAST Thank you for all your hard and difficult work on the board addressing many nasty issues. Sorry to bear another issue to your attention. Please take the time to address one more PBCA community issue. The board of PBCA in good faith is requested to consider and please make some policy to protect our community from the long term storage and misuse of private land on Roadside East in regards to asphalt piles. On the East Side there are three places where currently long term storage of Used Asphalt is being conducted to the detriment of property values and general neighbor hood aesthetics. • Upper Pepper Tree – up slope from Sweet Bay: This storage has been there for over 3 years and has started to grow weeds, this sort of storage and is unsightly and miserable. It does impact homeowners and neighbors and it is not nice or fair to treat a few people in such a disrespectful manner. I am sure if this was on Narcissa the community contractor would not have been allowed to leave it there for three years. • Upper Pony Club Lot: I am not sure who owns this lot: There are over 10 piles of used asphalt stored there along with private tents is it on private property, this storage is not reflected in the CC and R’s as a private community it is not zoned as a commercial dump or fill storage facility. This private lot is no longer undeveloped it is a parking lot that never was graded along with a tent village. These are unsightly filthy and reflect lack of control to the East Side community. These have nothing to do with landslide abatement or saving a home. These piles have been sitting there a very long time. • There is also one lonely pile on the parking lot below Chucks property, this one can be easily viewed by auto, this lot also has a pile of used asphalt gracing the private domain and not being used or graded. This is not acceptable and would not be acceptable on the West Side this pile does not help hold up a landslide home or any such landslide abatement. It is simply a pile of asphalt left on open land. I understand the need for such product and some storage but there needs to be limitations as to amount and intent and schedule for usage. This storage should not exceed a year. I feel the community board since they have not moved to protect our community equally from becoming a dump then they should at least impose some sort of limitations on how long we have to look a the dump. I do not think this is an unreasonable request for simple equal protection from asphalt storage abuse.
